Navigation Tips for the PCSO Web Site
To help you find your way around, this page describes the:
- primary sections of the Web site for PCSO members,
- other sections, including information about PCSO and resources for the public,
- subsections
- navigation within each section to specific topics
- navigating within pages
- links on every page
- using the search and advanced search functions
- the site map.
Primary Sections for Members
The main sections of the Web site for PCSO members are listed on the left of each page. Click on the section name to go to the introductory page for that section.
Other Sections
The black horizontal bars at the top and bottom of each page contain links to information about PCSO, resources for the public and navigation tools.
The section you're in appears in black on the left or in yellow in the black bars.
Subsections
When you move the cursor over a section on the left or at the top, any subsections will appear, and you can click on a subsection name to go directly there.
Navigating Within Sections: Specific Topics
The name of the current section appears to the right of the PCSO logo below the horizontal bars at the top (for example, "Web site Map / Table of Contents" above). Clicking on the section name takes you to the first or introductory page for that section.
The white box on the right lists the contents of the section and other relevant links. Clicking on any link takes you to that page or topic.
Links in bold on the right indicate that the information is on the current page.
Navigating Within Pages
Some longer pages (Iike this one) will list the contents of the page at the top. Click on any item to go directly there.
Click on Back to the Top to return to the top of a page.
Links to other locations are underlined and will appear grey until they are visited, when they will be black.
Links on Every Page
You can return to the home page at any time by clicking on the PCSO logo at the upper left of each page or "Home" in the black horizontal bar at the top or bottom.
Click on "Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics" in the copyright notice at the bottom of any page to go to the "Contact PCSO" page.
PCSO Legal Notices and Privacy Policy can also be reached from the bottom of every page.
Search
Below the list of sections on the left side of each page is a Search function. Enter a word or several words into the space provided and click "Search" to search for use of that word or phrase in the PCSO Web site.
You can also click on advanced search for more selective search options.
Web Site Map / List of Contents
You may also want to consult the site map, which lists the primary sections of the PCSO Web site and all of the pages within each section. In the site map, you can click on any section or page to go directly there.
