BYLAWS OF THE PACIFIC COAST SOCIETY OF ORTHODONTISTSARTICLE XVI -- AMENDMENTSA. AMENDMENTS: Amendments proposed in writing and endorsed by twenty-five (25) active members shall be presented to the Bylaws Committee at least sixty (60) days prior to the next annual session. After consideration by the Bylaws Committee, such proposed amendment(s) and the Bylaws Committee opinion shall be mailed to the membership at least thirty (30) days prior to the next annual session. The amendment(s) shall be voted on at the next annual session and may be adopted by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the active members present and voting at the regular business meeting. B. PRESENTATION AT AN ANNUAL MEETING: An amendment presented in writing by the Board of Directors, and having been reviewed by the Bylaws Committee and mailed to the membership thirty (30) days prior to the next Annual Session, may be adopted at a business meeting on a later day of that Annual Session by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the active members present and voting. C. MAIL BALLOT: An amendment having been approved by the Bylaws Committee, may be adopted by a mail ballot of three-fourths (3/4) vote of the active members.
