THE 2020 CONFERENCE IS GOING VIRTUAL
Over the past few months, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists and Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists have been reviewing the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the PCSO/RMSO planned 2020 annual session that was scheduled at the Disneyland Hotel, October 22-25, 2020.
As you know, this is a difficult and unprecedented time for everyone in our country and, professionally, for all of us in orthodontics. With that in mind, the Board of Directors has decided that the 2020 Annual Session in Anaheim, CA will transition from a face-to-face conference to a virtual meeting this fall.
This was not an easy decision to make as we are aware of the serious impact the COVID-19 pandemic is having on our association as well as our vendor partners. The decision was made after carefully assessing the situation and is based on the broad sweeping restrictions required for large meetings which would make it impractical for us to hold an in-person conference at this time.
We’re pleased to announce that while we will not be holding the meeting this year at the Disneyland Hotel, we have secured the venue for November 2-5, 2023.
More information on the 2020 virtual conference will be coming soon! We thank you for your support and look forward to still being able to provide you with a high-quality event this fall. We’ll miss seeing your faces in-person though!
