Meet Dr John Trotter, the new Secretary Treasurer of the PCSO
John Trotter is a man with a mission. He believes that by helping others, he can make the world a better place. This philosophy has driven him throughout his life, from 1999 when he became a CAO delegate to his election as the secretary-treasurer of the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists (PCSO). John is excited to serve the profession he loves.
John’s passion for advocacy drives him to work tirelessly on behalf of the entire profession. For John, there is a real benefit to being involved in advocacy at all levels. “I think I can make the biggest difference in the orthodontists that are close to me by being involved,” he says. “Whether it’s through legislative efforts, representative efforts, or more.” And he truly enjoys it! “I like to be with people who have the same goals of making it better to be in this profession.” This is why John is so dedicated to PCSO’s advocacy efforts – so that orthodontists can spend less time worrying about the bureaucracy and more time providing excellent patient care.
In addition to his dedication to advocacy, John also enjoys spending time with his wife and two grown boys. He knows that it’s important to take a break from work and enjoy life’s simple pleasures.
